10,000 SF Occupied Renovation (Residential)

This project is a 15-unit apartment building renovation performed with seven units remaining occupied during construction. To minimize impact to the existing residents, and to avoid their relocation out of the building during construction, the tenants were consulted throughout the project and shifted to newly-renovated space as each unit was completed. The project was a full gut and renovation with all new construction including utilities. Laundry appliances were added to each unit and all common spaces and exterior grounds were upgraded as part of the renovation, as well. Even with having to coordinate work with the residents so closely, total construction time was kept to approximately 7 months.
