11,800 SF Mixed Use (Retail & Residential) Renovation

Located on the north end of DC’s Truxton Circle neighborhood, this project involved both interior and exterior renovation of a 1920s era 3-story mixed-use structure to deliver 8 luxury apartments and 3 ground level retail spaces. The apartments were full-gut renovations, adding pocket doors to create convertible living spaces and adding more options for rental tenants. Additions to the structure included the construction of a stair to access the roof and new roof-top deck. The existing retail spaces were largely demolished and reconstructed with a new storefront and windows. Total construction took about one year to complete.
